Dev: Fairy Potter.
Last night, D. took me to meet the baby Jesus. Apparently he lives in our TV cabinet. She spent the evening bringing him milk and water.
Epic Pinterest fail. I bought tapioca pearls (boba) at the international grocery store, thinking to make edible water beads for D. to play with. Decided to cook them up—these have to soak for an hour in warm water, then boil for 10 minutes. They totally disintegrated (cheap tapioca, I think, rather than user error...) into a slimy mess. Gave it to D to play with anyway, and she went "EW! SLIMY!" for about a minute before I heard, "I'm done."
I think next time I'll get the recommended brand off of Amazon!!!
(She did end up going back to it the next day and playing with the slime for a while.)
